Our client from Norway is looking for skilled tinsmiths as follows:
Main tasks and duties:
Tinsmiths will work mostly on construction sites, but also in the workshop. Will be in contact with toxins; install ceilings and wiring boards. Facade and roof insulation, ceiling mounted-plates.
In the client's workshops the candidate will manufacture sheet metal parts according to drawings. It may include the manufacture of fittings, moldings, window moldings and more. We work with materials such as painted panels, copper, stainless steel, lead and zinc.
Other tasks include cutting, folding and "beating” edges that later formed into plate brackets, moldings, window eyes, gutters and downpipes. Objects mounted then on the buildings.
Maintenance checks of previous performed Plate work on roofs and facades. Tinsmiths checks, write inspections protocol and propose measures. Tinsmiths often work in teams of two but can also work alone. It is obvious that tinsmiths are used to work high above the ground.
Contract period – minimum 6 months with the possibility of prolonging according to the agreement with the employer;
Location – Oslo-Norway and other locations on Norway;
Employment type – employment contract with the employer;
Hourly payment - NOK 170-200 (21,5 – 25,3 euro) gross (aprox. 30% Norwegian taxes). Monthly salary – 3600-4250 euro gross;
Working hours: 8 hours/day – 5 days/week with the possibility of paid overtime, according to the client's needs and projects;
Salary payment date - 20th of the month, paid by bank transfer;
Accommodation and meals:
Meals are self-provided by the candidate;
Accommodation provided in apartments and houses (or separate small 1-room apartments) at normal or higher Norwegian standard for NOK 4200 to NOK 5500 per month (540-700 euro per month), all included furniture, electricity, hot water, heat and wireless internet, bed sheets and bed clothes.
