Nato Depot & Support System(NDSS)
The NDSS Asset Clerk will be responsible for all activities related to the planning and implementation of a comprehensive evaluation of the assets and internal controls activities (audit, credit review, compliance and technology) primarily for the asset management sector of the contract, which includes building an all-inclusive directory of the sites assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and resolve certain equipment transferred to Managed Assets.
• Inspect, evaluate, and liquidate collateral, as needed buildings, inventory, equipment, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
• Provide support to property officer on collection and verification of assets.
• Work with Assets team on assets quality reviews
• Knowledge and understanding of material control, analyzing procurement documentation and assets control practices.
• Prepare weekly, quarterly report of activity and events.
• Evaluate property.
• Assist in managing, monitoring, and evaluating account.
• Review and analyze cases for fraud.
• File claims.
• Identify and address any negative trends in asset management to prevent future losses.
• Advice assets team lead and recommend changes of policy, procedure, etc. to protect and future losses
• Perform skip tracing and assets searches.
• Knowledge and understanding of military structure related to assets management.
• Other projects that may be deemed appropriate by department manager.
• Work on clearing collateral and financial exceptions
• Perform necessary changes on NDSS
• Maintain SSR (Stock Serial Registry) for new stock numbers and increases and decreases of assets.
• Other duties as tasked from time to time.
