Job Description
To maintain and fix any and all ISAF and other vehicles that arrives at the KBR maintenance yard. You must be able to understand the issues with the vehicle, decide on a course of action that will fix the problems, as required order parts to complete the fix and then carry out the actions required to return the vehicle to a useable level. You should also be able to carry out preventative maintenance as required.
Skills/Experience
- Experienced mechanic ideally with experience in either military vehicles or with heavy equipment or both.
- Able to take instructions from both KBR management and NAMSA/ISAF staff as required
- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads according to staffing and requirements from the customers
Qualifications
- Mechanic qualifications from your home country or equivalent experience levels i.e. 5-10 years.
- Language levels â NATO 2211
- Vehicle Recovery role requires that the member of staff has a full driving licence for their home country.
In addition the supervisor must have further experience of fault finding or problem rectification in order that any issues that the member of staff cannot solve can be passed up for review by the supervisor. The supervisor should also assist KBR management in completion of holiday rotations and timesheets.
