Job Title: Logistics
1. Purpose and Scope
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the control of an efficient and effective Logistic Operation and to understand and manage the clientâs needs and expectations. The Logistics Supervisor is to liaise with the KBR Logistics Manager and identify short-term and long-term administrative needs and objectives and look to continuously improve the Logistics functions in support of the site Logistics operation.
2. Responsibilities
ď§ Control and manage all KBR Operational and Administrative activities in line with the SSA Statement of Works (SOW).
ď§ Ensure that Stores Request Sheets (SRS) are authorised and processed and stock issued against the appropriate authority level KBR or NAMSA.
ď§ Ensure that Fast Moving Stock items are available and sufficient to meet the clientâs needs.
ď§ Ensure that Stores Request Sheets (SRS) which have not been satisfied from site stock are submitted to the KBR Supply Office to process an SRN request to the UK.
ď§ Check all Minimum â Maximum stock and Reorder Levels are accurate in accordance with Item Usage and guidelines set by the KBR Logistics Manager (KAIA).
ď§ Assist with the management and control of Stocktakes in line with KBR contractual obligations or as directed by the KBR Logistics Manager (KAIA)
ď§ Investigate stock discrepancies and report all significant variances to the KBR Logistics Manager (KAIA)
ď§ Control and manage all Supplier Vehicle and Container movements and inform the KBR Logistics Manager (KAIA) of their arrival and departure date and of any discrepancies or losses.
ď§ Manage, control and maintain all KK Accounts for all items and equipment designated as belonging to that account.
ď§ Identify and implement new opportunities to streamline Operational Administration functions and improve the workflow processes and procedures.
ď§ Provide statistical information each month on Logistic activities for inclusion in the KBR Key Performance Indicators (KPI`s).
ď§ Liaise with all customer representatives, resolve all issues and concerns and promote and maintain an excellent client relationship.
ď§ Responsible for all Health and Safety within the Logistics Operation.
3. Knowledge and Skill Requirements
1. Must have had 3-4 years experience in a Logistics Supervisory appointment.
2. Good standard of verbal and written communication.
3. Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
4. Demonstrates a positive leadership style with an enthusiastic, positive, committed and flexible attitude
5. Promotes the importance and benefits of team working
